i.Acceptance of these terms
By joining the Anzi waitlist, downloading the Anzi app, or otherwise using any part of our service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you ("you") and Anzi ("we," "us"), operated as an independent project in Italy.
ii.What Anzi is (and isn't)
Anzi is a personal reflection tool for tracking and rating purchases. It's designed to help you think more intentionally about how you spend money.
Anzi is NOT:
- A financial advisor or financial planning service
- A bank or financial institution
- A budgeting or accounting tool for tax or business use
- A guarantee of any specific outcome (saving money, reducing spending, etc.)
Anything you learn or decide based on using Anzi is your own responsibility. We don't provide financial, tax, or investment advice.
iii.Your account and conduct
When you sign up for Anzi (waitlist or app):
- You must be at least 16 years old
- You must provide accurate contact information
- You agree not to abuse, hack, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service
- You agree not to impersonate others or create fake accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your device secure
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.
iv.Payments and refunds
If you purchase Anzi (one-time, subscription, or lifetime access):
- Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store — their terms also apply
- Prices are listed in EUR or your local currency at checkout
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies
- For founding-member lifetime access: this is a one-time payment for ongoing app access. We commit to maintaining the app for at least 3 years from your purchase; beyond that, we'll provide reasonable notice if the project ends
Under EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases unless you explicitly agree to immediate access (which most app store purchases do). Check the App Store / Play Store refund policies for your specific case.
v.Intellectual property
Anzi, including the app, website, brand, design, and content, is our intellectual property. You're granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Anzi for your own personal use.
You can't:
- Copy, modify, or redistribute the app
- Reverse-engineer or extract source code
- Use our brand, logo, or design without permission
- Build a competing product based on our code or designs
Any purchase data, ratings, or notes you create remain yours. You own your data.
vi.Privacy
Your privacy matters. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR.
vii.Service availability
We work hard to keep Anzi available and working well, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" — we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific expectations.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. If we end a paid service entirely, we'll provide reasonable advance notice and offer a fair resolution.
viii.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anzi and its operators are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Financial decisions you make based on using Anzi
- Issues caused by third-party services (App Store, hosting, email providers)
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 — whichever is greater. This doesn't limit liability that can't be excluded by EU consumer protection law.
ix.Termination
You can stop using Anzi anytime. To delete your data, email us at hello@anzi.app.
We may terminate access if you violate these Terms or abuse the Service. We'll typically give notice unless the violation is serious or urgent.
x.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make material changes that affect your rights, we'll notify subscribers by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
xi.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Italy, unless EU consumer protection law gives you the right to sue in your home country.
